Description

This is an exciting new entry level position with us - we are doing several large implementations for our customers on this cloud based software solution, ServiceNow:

This role involves training with our team for a short period (1-4 weeks) and then participating in development activities on various customer projects. You can work either from our solution center in Houston, TX or work remotely from a home office environment.

You need to have a background in ITSM in general; knowledge or certification in ITIL is a huge plus. Knowledge or experience of any of the following is a plus:

Experience using ServiceNow CMDB solution
o Experience in Network, Storage, UCS Technologies integration with CMDB is a plus
o Experience in UI design using JavaScript, HTML, CSS. HTML5/CSS3 experience a plus.
o A solid understanding of REST/SOAP/WSDL/XML (Web Services), HTTP Request
Methods
Use SCRUM/Agile development methodology

Responsibilities

o Participate in full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing,
Training, and Operational Support
o Document technical architectures that could be clearly understood and immediately used
by developers to construct code and unit test
o Perform ServiceNow implementation tasks including but not limited to: configuration,
integration, custom programming
o Responsible for developing and managing application code, user interface, and third-
party integration components in all stages of the CMDB development projects (i.e.
definition, development, deployment)
o Manage development of solutions to migrate and/or integrate disparate data to enterprise
CMDB solution
o Work with Data Architect and DBAs in ensuring that enterprise architecture standards and
policies are met
o Ensures project scope and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and
funding
o Develop and document best practice approaches and reusable assets
o Use SCRUM/Agile development methodology Conduct training and awareness sessions
for delivery teams on ITIL Best Practices

Requirements

Computer Science or Engineering degree

Skills

Required - ITIL Process
Preferred - ITIL Certified
