Always be on the alert for potentially fraudulent job postings online - never send money to a potential employer.
DescriptionWe are a new startup focused on providing mobile development expertise to local and global companies. We help organizations launch or improve their mobile presence on native app stores. We are looking for interns to help us deliver software to clients. There's no better feeling than seeing an app update you've worked on hit the store for billions of people to see.
You will be writing apps destined for either Apple iTunes or Google Play app stores, and possibly others. Most of our clients are startups or people with ideas that need help executing them. We also work with other consulting firms who have local clients and these firms don't have in-house iOS/Android developers. You would have a list of development tasks to complete each week, and we'd give you the tools and the guidance on how to complete them.
The job is 95% virtual - you'd make your own schedule and work from home. We will meet virtually at least twice per week, and always be in contact via Slack or Hangouts. However, we may require one in-person meeting each week to keep in touch.
This opportunity can be in the form of an internship if desired. Please note that we do not offer sponsorship at this time. You must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
ResponsibilitiesThe job consist of developing iOS, Android, and hybrid mobile apps and websites. You would be working from home 95% of the time, with bi-weekly meetings done online and some in-person meetings. We’ll provide you with the tools you need to develop, and guidance on completing the required tasks.
