Description

S.P.I III INDUSTRIES is a new video game studio, get involved with our first, exciting project!

You will be the person who makes the world feel and become interactive when the player needs to converse with characters. When the player inputs an action, something will happen in the world, whatever it may be. You will code the reasoning and logic behind an entity, which makes it usable, customizable, and dynamically weaponized. You will script events, gameplay objectives, and gameplay objects to work as they are designed.
You will be responsible for giving the game life.

You may use C++, the language of Unreal Engine 4, and/or Blueprints visual scripting, depending on needs and requirements.

Responsibilities

-Program gameplay features and items.
-Program and/or integrate custom assets to work with the game engine (Unreal Engine 4.9.0 and up).
-Learn to use the Unreal Engine 4 to accomplish a given task.
Use Unreal Engine 4’s Blueprints visual scripting system.
Use C++ separately and alongside Blueprints.
-Script and program A.I behavior.
-Learn to implement programs and scripts in a practical environment.

Requirements

You must have at least one or more items to apply:
-Be a Computer Science Major.
-You must have a workable fluency in C++.
-You must have Visual Studio 2013 or Xcode to write in C++.
-You must be able to learn and use visual scripting (Unreal Engine 4's Blueprints).
And you must also have all of the following:
-You must have the determination to make things work, even if they don't work the first time.
-You must have the determination to learn new things and like learning to solve the challenges of programming.
-Learn to use the Unreal Engine 4 to accomplish a given task.
-A "Can Do" Attitude is what we want!

Portfolio:
-Please include a portfolio of your work for priority positioning.
-If your portfolio is online, ensure the link is working.
-If your portfolio is not online, make it available through other means.
-Have working code samples on request.
