DescriptionBella Luma Films is an independent production company with offices in Toronto and Los Angeles. We are seeking a website designer with graphic designer capabilities for the creation of a variety of multimedia materials including a website and web graphics to support the subject matter of two Hollywood feature length films and a documentary we currently have in development.
ResponsibilitiesThe Responsibilities include some or all of the following:
-Assisting Executive Producer with website design concepts.
-Create a website from start to finish.
-Design complex graphics and animation, using independent judgment, creativity, and computer equipment.
-Participate in design and production of multimedia campaigns, and assisting with such responsibilities as production coordination, background design and progress tracking.
-Create basic designs, drawings, and illustrations for social media campaigns
-Develop briefings, brochures, multimedia presentations, web pages, promotional products, technical illustrations, and computer artwork for use in products, technical manuals, literature, newsletters and slide shows.
-Script, plan, and create narrative sequences and design elements under tight deadlines, using computer software programs.
-Implement and maintain configuration control systems.
-writing and editorial work
RequirementsThe candidate must have the following:
-A major in Computer Science, Multimedia, Graphic Arts, Animation, Filmmaking or other relevant majors.
-The ability to create websites, special effects, animation or other visual images using film, video, computers or other electronic tools and media for use in websites, movies, music videos, short films and commercials.
-Some website experience with some examples of completed work.
-The following coursework is helpful:
>Webpage prodcution in HTML/CSS
>2 D or 3D design
>maths or physics
