Always be on the alert for potentially fraudulent job postings online - never send money to a potential employer.
DescriptionWe are a small company involved in some big things... some small things as well. I started shortly out of college doing residential renovations. Now, there are 3 parts of my business model, large scale Project Management, Renovation & Maintenance and Residential Property Mgmt. My idea has always been to limit the size and complexity of the companies, but leaving the potential and opportunity boundless. That is exactly how we've grown and now we're looking for a motivated intern to whom we offer that same chance. You'll learn from the ground up and we'll be happy to give you more opportunity and responsible as you're ready. We are about to launch 2 smaller "subdivisions" which we will be available to the intern, if they want it and work for it. The end result is for us to help some learn the business and we'd support them to start one of their own when ready. Our vision is for an incubator that grows independent people and small businesses. www.ProCorGroup.com
ResponsibilitiesInitially tasks will be the rung of the ladder to which you're qualified. If you have never worked a job site, then it will be hard and grunt like to begin. Whatever skills you have, we'll find a way to utilize at a level that well keep you engaged and interested. The speed at which you progress is not going to hindered by a hierarchy that wants to maintain a status quo. We need our people to learn. We have more for them to do. There is always a next level, until you either leave, or we set you up in your own company.
Summary of responsibilities: 1) Ask questions - the only foolish question is the one that wasn't asked. 2) Want Independence - if you can't be placed at a site by yourself and be self motivated to complete the assigned task, your outlook is limited. 3) Willingness - We call it the "put me in coach" attitude. We want those who want to try. To quote Wayne Gretzky, "The only shot that I never missed was the one that I never took".
