Responsibilities•Prepare and maintain the Project Construction Schedule using the Critical Path Method with input from Project Superintendent
•Coordinate and execute all RFI’s/RFP’s to the Project Architect/Engineer
•Assist in the preparation of Proposals and Change Orders
•Prepare for and attend monthly Project Meetings including agenda packets and minutes
•Assist with the verification of on-site trades compliance with insurance and safety requirements
•Review and process submittals, prepare and maintain submittal long
•Review and maintain safety logs and reports
•Coordinate with the Project Superintendent and Manager for the final review and Punch Out
RequirementsThe Field Engineer/Project Manager will be responsible for the total oversite of a construction project from the pre-construction review of documents to preliminary estimates thru completion and cost analysis of final construction documents working with the Sr. Project Manager. Complete oversite of project bidding, project construction, development of the Construction Schedule along with the Sr. Project Manager, review and process submittals, safety reports. Prepare agenda and conduct monthly project meetings. This position will require reporting to the Director of Operations.
•Minimum of 0-3 years’ experience in general construction and as a Field Engineer
•Proficient in the ability to read and interpret Construction Documents, specifications and general safety requirements
•Develop and maintain a good working relationship with the Project Superintendent, Project Manager and Project Owner
•Ability to read and understand geotechnical investigations and reports
•Adapt easily to a fast paced environment
•Proficient in the company’s software programs
•Ability to take-off on electrical drawings
•Willingness and ability to travel
•Construction Management/Construction Engineering Degree, or equivalent construction degree required
•Previous internship experience, preferred
