DescriptionNomura Research Institute America (NRIA) is looking for full-time interns to become part of the research and consulting team. Intern will support NRIA’s internal research in Healthcare, Services and Retail industries.
NRIA is the New York Office of Nomura Research Institute (NRI), which was established in 1965 to become Japan's first private-sector think tank. Since then, for over 45 years, NRI has provided research and consulting services to both private and public sectors worldwide. NRI's services are now valued by a broad clientele that includes top-tier multinational firms, Japanese government agencies and regulators, foreign governments, and international agencies. NRI's research and consulting services are typically executed by project teams consisting of highly skilled researchers drawn from diverse specialist fields. Corporate consultations encompass management strategy, business strategy, functional strategies (such as technology and marketing strategy), business revitalization, and M&A. For governments, NRI provides assistance in policy development and evaluation, infrastructure strategy, regional development, and the reform of public enterprises.

Responsibilities-Supporting researchers with preparation for interviews and organizing interview results (writing interview notes)
-Collecting secondary research data for market analysis using available online sources
-Managing research files and creating electronic databases
Requirements-B.A. or B.S. degree required
-Candidates with excellent Japanese reading and writing skills preferred
-Ability to work well independently or with others in a fast-paced work environment
