Responsibilities

In addition to administrative tasks, i.e. answering emails and helping to schedule appointments, interns will be researching legislation for SSFC relating to Coal Companies, as well as monitoring and writing After Action Reports on Congressional Hearings, Town Hall Meetings, and Media interviews of interest. Interns will also have the opportunity to attend meetings with Congressional Staff, Industry Officials, and clients on behalf of SSFC.

SSFC is also willing to oversee a research project of the intern’s interest if they are pursuing class credit for the internship.

Requirements

Candidates should have, or be pursuing, a degree in college, while no specific degree is required, a strong writing and personal skills are a must! Veterans will have preference but ALL can apply!
