Description

Fiverr is the world's largest marketplace for creative and professional services, currently listing over 4 million Gigs in more than 100 different categories across 196 countries. When you join Fiverr, you’ll become an important member of one of the hottest startups in the world.
From day one you’ll be challenged to take risks, think big, and make an impact, while getting lots of love and support from the team.
Fiverr is growing, and we need interns who are owners capable of breaking down and solving complex problems and have a strong will to get things done. Category management interns are given ownership of large, important areas of opportunity. You will have the autonomy to think strategically, make decisions, and drive significant impact to the business. To be successful, you must be passionate about the business, flourish in ambiguity, and demonstrate nimble leadership.

Responsibilities

The primary role of a Category Manager within Fiverr is to own a specific category on fiverr.com (e.g. Graphics & Design). The CM is responsible to develop the overall strategy of that category and drive its execution across the organization. As the owner of a category they are ultimately responsible for its revenue. The Category Manager is the business owner of the category who will work cross-functionally to drive ideas from conception to execution, developing marketing plans to drive awareness and adoption, segmenting customers and developing business models, defining and analyzing success metrics, and managing strategic projects. Category Managers have direct impact on Fiverr’s positioning as the world’s largest marketplace for professional and creative services, its customer experience, and its overall growth strategy.
