Description

Assistant Consultants support the delivery of CCG's services across our three main areas of
operation – Start-up Business Consulting, Small Business Development and Entrepreneurial Consulting. The role is
exciting and varied, with a combination of hands- on delivery and client communication experiences from day
one. Assistant Consultants also have a central role to play in business development and will be
challenged to develop their professional networks and lead key development activities to ensure we
continue to develop our client portfolio.

Responsibilities

 Developing and building strong client and candidate networks to support the development
of new and existing business
 Arranging and attending networking events by working closely with the PR team
 Ensuring we are able to find good projects while keeping the team current on new and current project developments
 Taking a lead role on key areas of business development activity (e.g. development calls,
research, capacity building projects)
 Supporting with the development of effective marketing materials

Requirements

We would also prefer individuals who are working toward a business degree and can demonstrate an
interest in the development and success of small businesses.

 Analysing information obtained and put in the CRM, preparing reports and attending client meetings to
present information
 Attending a range of client meetings – including those to win work, provide updates and recommendations
 Meeting with candidates (Virtually) and preparing meeting reports. Updating this information into the CRM.
 Carrying out research and preparing proposals, presenting appropriate information to
secure new business
 Attending presentation pitches to win new business
 Taking references and preparing feedback reports
