Alanda Gregory Owner of Phoenix, is a Life coach/Mentor and Consultant. She is contracted for various projects throughout the year as well as assist with her husband's music distribution business and his recording studio. Alanda works with other companies to assist with their business structure, operations, etc.
We are in search of a candidate that is a self-starter and team player that can assist the business owner with special projects. The intern must be available at least 10 - 15 hours per week to assist with calls, emails, administrative tasks, marketing/research. This position can be done virtually with a once a week check in with the owner. Intern must be flexible and able to assist with personal calendar and schedule of the owner.
ResponsibilitiesIntern will be first point of contact with people from both inside and outside the organization. Tasks are likely to include:
devising and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing, travelling with the manager to take notes or dictation at meetings or to provide general assistance during presentations; screening phone calls, inquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate; organizing and maintaining diaries and making appointments;
dealing with incoming email, post, often corresponding on behalf of the manager; carrying out background research and presenting findings; producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations; organizing and attending meetings and ensuring the manager is well prepared for meetings; liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff.
