DescriptionWe are seeking enthusiastic team members to join our kitchen team to learn techniques, production, and gain hands-on experience learning what it’s like to work in a bakery and kitchen. Our ideal candidate is currently pursuing a culinary degree or is ready and willing to learn from our chefs. Previous experience is a plus but not necessary. Candidate must be available to work out of our commissary kitchen in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Maman, a café and bakery with locations in SoHo NYC, TriBeCa NYC, and Toronto, serves family-inspired recipes from the South of France and North America, bringing to life both savory and sweet childhood favorites. The menu features dishes created from the highest quality, locally-sourced ingredients and changes every day to ensure an inspiring, ever-evolving menu. Open seven days a week, Maman offers a selection of delicious baked goods, breads, coffee, fresh breakfast and lunch options, and seated lunch, brunch, and a full bar at the TriBeCa and Toronto locations. Items include: hearty farm fresh salads, quiches, sandwiches, soups, an assortment of pastries and desserts, a selection of artisanal breads made fresh daily (from country-style to focaccia), and coffee from Brooklyn's renowned Toby's Estate. Maman is a combined vision from three founders Armand Arnal, head chef at Michelin Star restaurant, La Chassagnette in the South of France; Benjamin Sormonte, entrepreneur and restaurateur; and Elisa Marshall, baker, event planner, and designer mutual passion for delivering exceptional food within an artful and warm setting.
