Responsibilities

Responsible for the set-up and execution of buffets, banquet events and other operations
Follow recipes and complete daily task lists
Work with Chef on recipe development, inventories and production
Ensure the standards of food quality and consistency are being met daily
Responsible for the organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of the kitchen and equipment
Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations including labeling, dating and tracking temperatures
Asks questions to clearly understand daily events and assignments
Assists with other duties as assigned by the Executive or Sous Chefs.

Requirements

Must be enrolled in an accredited culinary school
Must have a willingness to learn
Must understand the importance of providing an outstanding customer experience
Must be flexible in hours scheduled
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and walk/stand up to 12 hours
Must work well with others
Must have a professional demeanor and positive attitude
