Fair Hills Resort is a family vacation destination and convention center. Owned and operated by the Kaldahl family since 1926, this beautiful lake resort and its other properties offer a unique venue for events of all kinds and family reunions. Open seasonally from May through the beginning of October, Fair Hills hosts over 50 events each year, 10 weeks of family season vacations and serves hundreds of meals each day. These exciting properties offer opportunities to gain experience in multiple divisions of multiple industries.

This internship will focus on the exciting world of the Fair Hills Resort kitchen and is geared toward a college student who is pursuing a degree in the culinary arts. Our kitchen caters business meetings, weddings, guests and groups ranging from 20 - 200 people. The Intern will assist our Head Chef in ordering, scheduling and preparing meals. The intern will assist in all kitchen departments; prep, salad & bakery. The internship will provide emphasis on the following skills: basic & advanced culinary skills and running and organizing a full kitchen & staff.

On-site staff housing available.


Applicant Requirements
• Internship must be related to your area of study in school
• Fair Hills Internships must be able to work, at least, the 10 weeks of Family Season
• Wildflower Internships must be able to work from beginning of June through the end of August - preference is given to those who can stay later
• Must be able to work weekends, weekdays and holidays as needed
• Must be able to work day or evening shifts – weekly schedules are subject to change
