Rated #1 Sports Bar in North America. Chickies and Petes is a high volume sports bar with multiple locations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the surrounding areas. We are best known for our delicious crab fries, signature seafood items and craft beer. Our menu, hospitality and bar atmosphere separate us from all the competition. We want you to be successful by joining one of the fastest growing sports bar chains on the east coast! We are looking for ambitious interns who want to learn the overall operations of the kitchen. With a focus primarily on cooking and operations we want our interns to also learn other aspects including food receiving/storage, food preparation, utility/cleaning, raw bar operations and food expeditor operations. The purpose of this internship is to help teach you the basic fundamentals of the kitchen operation. For those who truly want to learn we are here to give you our knowledge and time to help you succeed in the future. Whether you decide to stay at Chickies and Petes or move on after your internship we can assure you that either way you will have developed countless new skills and techniques.

Responsibilities

Tasks will be given on a daily basis according the position or operation you will be focusing on.

Requirements

You need to have a passion for hospitality and food. We Prefer applicants who are enrolled in a culinary program or courses but neither are required. If you are interested in the restaurant business and could see yourself as a future Kitchen Manager this is a great way to start.
