DescriptionViewpoint Creative www.viewpointcreative.com is an established creative service agency founded in 1988. Today, it is one of the Boston area's premiere branding and design agencies in the country. Viewpoint Creative provides domestic and international clients with an exceptional range of branding, identity, design, image, marketing, advertising and promotion to market their brands. In the Design Internship position, students assist primarily the Design and Composite team, secondarily the Creative, Production, Editorial, Sales, and Admin teams as needed.
Responsibilities75% work with Design and Composite team to: ~ assist the team in research, design, and production. ~ depending on student’s technical knowledge and experience, projects could include print design, branding, broadcast design, motion graphics, and web design.
25% work with Creative, Production, and Sales team to: ~ assist with research for new initiatives in all media ~ attend relevant team meetings and conference calls to gain greater understanding of the project flow (creative through completion).
RequirementsCollege students who will be getting credit for this internship, majoring in Art, Design, or Visual Communications with basic design or motion graphics knowledge. The perfect candidate needs to be motivated, with common sense, and can problem solve. To apply you must supply a portfolio or samples of your work showing typography, page or web layouts, logo design and any other design related project. You need to have experience working in the Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, any motion design experience in After Effects or Cinema 4D is helpful but not necessary.
