Everyday millions of people around the world are deprived of their basic human rights. Society Philanthropique is a startup clothing company that will donate 25% of all sales to help make a difference in the lives of these people. Our first focus is women’s empowerment. We believe that good business is about more than just making money. At Society Philanthropique we’re out to change the world.
About the internship:
The internship is unpaid, however, we assure you that the experience you gain and portfolio you build will be invaluable.
The internship will run between 3-6 months.
You will jump right into it and much of the learning will be hands on. Proactivity is an absolute must.
When you apply:
In 2 sentences or less, tell us why you want to intern at Society Philanthropique.
In a paragraph tell us a little bit about yourself.
Show us what inspires you and why. (i.e. an ad you’ve seen, a story you’ve read, a work of art, a song you like, a movie, etc.)
Please include a link or attachment to a portfolio of your work.
Work directly with the founder and other team members to brainstorm and execute plans to grow the company.
Create graphics for the website, t-shirts, and other projects.
Become very adept at pitching ideas.
Experiment with different styles for different mediums.
A passion and understanding of digital design, some people communicate with words you communicate with your work.
A solid handle on web design, composition, and typography.
A good understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
An artist. Drawing, sculpting, painting...While not an expert at everything each medium is just a different way to express yourself.
Highly creative, extremely flexible, and cool under pressure, you thrive in the abstract.
A quick-learner and very adaptable, can’t is not in your vocabulary. If you don’t know how to do something you learn how.
Bonus points if you are:
Passionate about fashion and keep up with the latest trends.
