DescriptionSHOW ME THE MONEY is a new web TV series being developed for a global audience interested in an intimate insiders look at film financing and distribution that plans to launch in 2014.
The series focuses how to invest, raise and recoup money in the film business and features one on one interviews with A-level industry people that make it happen.
Utilizing Manager-Producer Steve Adams’ and Entertainment Lawyer Vinca Jarrett’s exclusive rolodex and years of experience producing finance events around the world (Cannes, Toronto, Berlin), the series will provide audiences interested in the business of film a close up on the who’s who in financing and distributing films. This will not just be a “how to” series, but will focus on the sex appeal of the business, and the myriad of reasons people become involved in financing films, which are not just focused on “return of capital”.
Responsibilities- Applicants must have a broad practical knowledge of web design tools and show examples of previous web design work.
- Ideal candidates will be familiar with principles of user experience design, including issues such as usability, navigation, site architecture, information design and accessibility
RequirementsWe are currently looking for individuals that have an interest in web design. Designers will work collaboratively with the producers in LA and Boston to conceive and design and the website for a new web TV series, SHOW ME THE MONEY. The successful candidate will be saavy about and have a passion for web design and will also demonstrate a flair for creativity.
The internship has an immediate start date, and will continue for the semester. There are also opportunities for the summer starting in June. Interns will work off-site (at home) on their own laptops and be required to check into the office and meet with producer once a week. The expected time commitment for the internship is 10 hours a week. The internship is unpaid.
