Description

AKH Group is looking for interns with a love for accessories and fashion!!! 

AKH Group is a budding footwear and handbag licensing company founded by Annelie Hofstrom and Ashley Kennedy.  We currently design, manufacture, and sell accessories for Marchesa as well as other up and coming shoe designers.  AKH Group also provides footwear and handbag consulting services to companies in the fashion industry.

Be a part of a start-up company where you will be immersed in the process of design.

Internship length will be for 3 - 6 months and school credit will be given.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:
-Taking photographs and editing photos
-Assist with running errands to fabric, trim and leather stores, as well as the shoe repair shop
-Editing and updating tech packs/spec sheets
-Organizing swatches and sketch binders
-Preparing inspiration and presentation boards
-Helping out with special tasks as needed

Requirements

-Pursuing a degree in design with fashion related experience/internships
-Must be available to intern 2-3 days per week
-Proficient in Photoshop and illustrator
-Excellent organization and communication skills
-Must be a self-starter, able to take initiative
-Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office and Excel
-Motivated to learn about all aspects of the business
-Positive attitude
-Timeliness when completing tasks
-Must be very detail oriented
