Savvo Stuff:
Savvo is an integrated marketing startup that matches shoppers and wine, beer & spirits brands at the point-of-purchase. Our Perfect Pairing Stations combine the best of digital and physical displays in the retail environment to create interactive food & bev experiences. Savvo also has a craft beer app on iTunes called BeerMapper that helps users discover the best beer for them.

We are a minimally funded company, so we can’t pay cash for role, but we do offer plenty of opportunities to gain valuable experience working on meaningful projects, working directly with the CEO. This internship can be done for credit or not, depending on your goals and university rules.

We work out of the hottest entrepreneurial hub in the city – “1871” at the Merchandise Mart, but we are also willing to bring on 100% remote interns for this position.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a design intern to help with our graphics and marketing needs. In this role, you would:
• Design user interface elements for our beer and wine applications
• Give user experience suggestions
• Create promotional material (fliers, in-store signage, biz cards, etc.)
• Improve visual look of sales collateral and investor presentations

Requirements

Ideal candidates are creative and passionate about design, human interaction and marketing. Most importantly we are looking for a hungry, self-motivated student who wants to learn, grow, and contribute. The ideal candidate will:
• Have familiarity and experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator
• Ideally have worked with a wireframing technology (e.g. InVision, Blasamiq, InDesign, Proto.io, etc.)
• Majoring in design, marketing or other related field
• Able to commit 10+ hours per week
