DescriptionWe at SMARTS™ are looking for an intern to work on illustrations, designs and everything creative that needs to be done at a startup. This person will have real deadlines, responsibilities and decision making opportunities as part of this role.

Qualified candidate will be responsible for:
Overseeing tasks and projects that are creative and graphic related
Producing and fulfilling graphic illustration tasks. All materials are children specific.
Creating technical and nontechnical drawings for printed materials, commercial products and digital media.
• MUST BE ENROLLED IN COLLEGE AND BE ABLE TO INTERN FOR COLLEGE CREDIT TO APPLY FOR THIS INTERNSHIP.

ResponsibilitiesWe’re looking for interns who:
Are interested in children’s education and able to provide related illustration designs, ideas and organization. You will be working with us on new products that encourages and inspires children.
Have excellent knowledge and skills in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Possess the ability to create long term planning strategies
Have education in graphic design or equivalent working experience preferred
• Must be enrolled in college and be able to intern for College credit to apply for this internship.
