Mark SQuared Studios is a studio, production company and resource center for independent media makers, artisans and entrepreneurs.

Mark SQuared Studios is preparing to move into a larger space, and has an immediate opening for a passionate and results oriented Interior Design Intern to assist with the commercial design of the new facility. The intern will have the exciting opportunity to be part of shaping the look and feel of one the city’s premier creative spaces. The right applicant will gain practical experience in planning, budgeting, specifying/purchasing, furnishings/interior materials installation and other miscellaneous tasks.

We are looking for a creative intern to help us turn our 6,300 square foot warehouse into a state of the art resource center for creative’s in the film and performing arts industry. The space needs to maintain it’s industrial warehouse feel while reflecting the passion, creativity and vision of the founding members – innovative, friendly, edgy, unique, inviting, open, reflective.


You will work with our facilities committee to:
- Plan the space from the floor up (literally, we want loft offices)
- Design a fluid floor plan
- Develop mood/sample board
- Identify potential vendors
- Develop a budget and schedule
- Assist with project management and cost controls
