DescriptionTiffany René Interior Design offers a wide variety of design services including but not limited to: Full Service Residential and Commercial Design, Custom furniture design and upholstery, Paint Consultation, Interior Re-Design, and Interior Styling. Tiffany René Interior Design is working on an exciting new social impact service/initiative, and has an immediate opening for a passionate and driven Interior Design Intern to assist with a commercial design project. The intern will learn the ins and outs of interior design and have opportunities to gain practical experience in planning, budgeting, specifying/purchasing, furnishings/interior materials installation, and other miscellaneous tasks. Responsibilities- Develop Cad drawings and renderings for commercial spaces.
-Assist in the design and development of layouts for various commercial spaces.
-Check vendor pricing and lead times
-Pull fabric memos, order samples, and other miscellaneous design related tasks
-Assist with design proposals, and project budgets
-Assist with client installations
*primarily needed on Sundays and Mondays, but schedule may vary
Requirements-Passionate about Interior Design, with a strong interest in designing commercial spaces
-Working towards a BA or certificate from a Fine Arts /Interior Design program (preferred)
-Proficiency in Auto Cad, Revit, SketchUp, and/or any other design software
-Knowledge of Mac OS and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel)
-Flexible schedule and reliable transportation
