DescriptionThis position is for a part time in-house Graphic Designer. The hours will be 20 - 25 hours per week and the starting pay will be $12 per hour.
90 Degree Design is a small Raleigh, NC-based business whose services include graphic design, branding, web development, printing, public relations, internet marketing, social media, copywriting and SEO. Special market focuses include golf, resort and real estate marketing as well as small business start-ups. We have worked with some of the most successful resort and golf brands in the country to develop total marketing programs that get real, quantifiable results.
We are located in the North Hills area of Raleigh. We're a small but fun group to work with and it's just a nice place to come every day!

Responsibilities***There will be some designing completely new creative concepts such as websites, print ads, logos, etc. So we are going to let you "spread your design wings" a little! However, this Internship will entail mostly working in a production support capacity to our Graphic/Web Designers.*** It's a great opportunity to learn the in's and out's of working on real design projects with real clients.
Assisting design team with whatever support is needed (yes, this does include answering phones)
Resizing and making copy changes to existing client ads
Designing web banners and graphics
Silo'ing photos in Photoshop
Designing and building electronic direct mail communications ("eBlasts")
Making minor changes, content updates and posting blog articles to client websites (we will train you on our CMS)
RequirementsMust have AT LEAST a basic working familiarity of Adobe Creative Suite 5 or above (ESPECIALLY Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
An interest in and passion for great design
A strong portfolio is a big "plus" (student work or commercial work)
A basic understanding of how websites are built
*You must be able to type at a reasonable speed and compose emails with good grammar and correct spelling.
