DescriptionGrowl Wear is a GLBT owned and operated company that designs, prints and sells T-Shirts to not only the GLBT community, but to the private sector as well. We design and print t-shirts for any individual or organization. The role of this intern is multifaceted. The intern will learn the basics of design, design and print software, press operation, shipping, marketing and sales. This position would be good for any student who wishes to pursue owning their own business. Looking for spring, summer, fall and winter interns. All are welcome to apply. Growl Wear also travels to sell t-shirts across the nation. Available and interested interns may be asked to attend such events. All travel expenses paid with exception of food. ResponsibilitiesIn order of importance: press operation, packing and shipping of products, being able to open, design and separate graphics and send to print. Market the company on Facebook and Twitter and sell at events.
RequirementsApplicant should have beginning knowledge of the Adobe Suite, including, but not limited to: Photoshop and Illustrator and have a desire to learn how to print, ship, market and sell. Any knowledge of separation software is a plus.
