UX / Graphic Design Position

Are you a UX/UI design wizard looking to flex some skills in the startup space? Do your eyes bleed when you see a website that isn’t designed well? Do you dream about working at a startup creating graphics, mockups and modifying interfaces? If this sounds like you then drop us a line show us what you’ve got!

We’re a premier San Francisco startup and we’ve raised money from the most prestigious investors and accelerator in Silicon Valley. Our mission is to empower students to do more with their education. StudySoup gives students a collaborative platform to buy and sell notes and study guides from any device, improving study behaviors and organizing course materials right on the cloud.

We are a hard-working, fun-loving team eager to shift the current education landscape. Most of our team is remote - so you’ll have the flexibility of working from wherever you want - but you can also drop by our super cool office in SF. Responsibilities

You'll be working with our head of design on A-Z design production. Our head designer has led the design and launch of top 10 apps in the appstore, and led top design shops around the country so this will be a great learning opportunity for you.

Requirements

What we are looking for
• Strong visual and design sense
• Strong online portfolio of web, mobile and visual design
• Experience with interface design - from wireframe to mockup
• Production experience preparing files and assets for development
• Comfortable with Adobe Creative suite. (Bonus marks for prototyping software)
• Some coding experience would be nice but not required: Javascript, CSS, HTML

Skills

Required - 20/20 Design, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
