Description

Seeking an intelligent, energetic web design intern to help with a key project for 2016. We are a fast-growing lifestyle blog based outside of Boston, MA, focused on helping new mothers with Health & Wellness.

We are looking for assistance within our WordPress CMS, digital ad management, and researching/interviewing women we want to feature moving forward. This is currently an unpaid internship, but there's a possibility of this becoming a paid part-time position down the road.

This internship will give some great experience working directly with an entrepreneur/editor, as well as the opportunity to be client-facing.

This is an off-location position, but you'd be expected to meet in person once per month if local (on the south shore of MA if possible) and then work remotely 5 hours per week. Otherwise meetings will be held via Skype.

Responsibilities

-Manage & Get creative with WordPress CMS and overall website design
-Digital ad management - Create & Manage all promotional banner ads
-Research women to feature in Movin' Mama section & schedule potential interviews
-Research & draft content around new healthy recipes & time-friendly workouts for site
-Manage events section on website; Opportunity to assist onsite if interested with registration and logistics

Requirements

-Must be working towards a BA in Graphic/Web Design
-Must have some marketing experience
-Must have access/experience with web design programming
-Must be comfortable working remotely
-Strong Interest in health & wellness preferable
-Open to wearing "a few hats" in a startup environment

Skills

Required - B2C marketing, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Wordpress Design, Advertising Operations
Preferred - Community Health, Coordinating Events
