Based in sunny Santa Monica, Retention Science is the leader in Retention Marketing. We are building the first “Retention Automation Platform” – a B2B enterprise software designed to help e-Commerce increase existing customer spending. Through cutting-edge predictive technology and big data analytics, we help e-Commerce businesses understand customer behaviors and maximize customer retention. Our software-as-a-service profiling engine uses machine learning techniques and statistical models to analyze purchasing trends based on massive demographics, social, and behavior data sets. We are looking for a true go-getter and scrappy hustler. We are looking for a Business Development Intern to support our enterprise sales team and is interested in selling marketing technology, data analytics solutions and/or B2B software.

Responsibilities

-Design, implement, maintain, and/or improve sales techniques
-Create and execute both short-term and long-term strategic sales initiatives
-Develop and maintain a strong understanding of market trends and opportunities
-Monitor sales initiatives to meet key milestones

Requirements

-Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
-Understanding of complex sales cycles with experience implementing internal processes to improve efficiency
-Proficiency with SFA tools, such as salesforce.com
