Q1Media was recently named as one of the Top 100 Companies to work for in the state of Texas and we offer a warm, high-energy work environment in North Austin's Domain corporate offices — we are located directly across the street from the Apple Store. As we continue to grow our various business units, we are determined to recruit and evolve the company through multiple channels, including our internship positions. Currently we are searching for bright young minds to join our team as Publisher Development Interns. In this role, you will work with our Publisher Development Team and focus on growing our premium display, video and mobile networks. You will report to the Director of Publisher Development and work with our team to research, contact, and coordinate with existing and prospective publisher clients. You will learn about several facets of the digital media business including ad-serving technologies, account management, sales, business development and media operations.

Responsibilities

• Directly grow the revenue of the Q1Media video, display and mobile networks daily
• Analyzes partner opportunities with the largest advertisers and demand aggregators
o Use sales tools like SalesForce to track progress on relationships
• Demonstrates clear capability to lead and drive partner acquisition conversations
• Work closely with management team to streamline executions of deliverables (contract terms, site lists, tech qualification) and close partnerships
• Learn all major industry reporting tools and analyze the data
• Able to compile and communicate deal value using financial models or projections as a weekly and monthly deliverable
• Cultivates higher level (multiple digital-medium) potential partnerships and proposes strategic relationships that yield exponential results
• Develops, manages, and maintains a prioritized pipeline of business development deals

Requirements

• Highly aggressive hunter mentality, self-motivated individual that enjoys building companies and business units from the ground up
• Entrepreneurial person, that understands and can excel in a start-up type of environment
• Reporting & analytical skills
• 1-4 years of digital advertising sales or business development experience preferred, but not mandatory
• Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects with many inbound requests
• Strong ability to comprehend structure and negotiate simple business partnerships
• Effective negotiating skills - website recruitment experience within an ad network landscape is a bonus
• Superior communication skills
