As our Business Development intern, you will be responsible for evaluating, sourcing, and closing near-term business development opportunities. You will have the freedom to identify, close and deliver on short-term revenue generating opportunities sourced through your own initiatives and backed by the translation solutions of the Company. In doing so, you will work closely with other business development leaders and the rest of the VerbalizeIt team. Examples of near-term business development opportunities, include but are not limited to: responding to RFPs posted on Craigslist, LinkedIn, Proz, and other job boards.
Responsibilities• Create your own business development pipeline leveraging existing job forums
• Use your creativity and initiative to source revenue
• Liaise between customer needs and product development initiatives
• Deliver market assessments based on your interaction with clients
Requirements• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
• “Just gets stuff done” – prides him/herself on always delivering, no matter how tough the challenge
• Entrepreneurial – flexible, optimistic and extremely hands-on problem-solving approach
