Description

Company Info: The Expert Marketing Coach, Debra Zimmer, provides products as well as group and one-on-one coaching to assist companies in building their brand and attracting more clients using online marketing strategies and methods. By doing so, The Expert Marketing Coach provides entrepreneurs and enterprises with tools to help them achieve a greater impact in the world.

Location: This is a virtual internship, however, you may need to meet on occasion for networking purposes. You will typically work from home (or school, or Starbucks, or the library…or wherever).

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship, but the experience is priceless!

Timeline: Immediately! Approximately 10 hours a week for 15 weeks; we are flexible and your internship is negotiable. We will work with you.

Responsibilities

The Business Development Intern will potentially work on these projects, either a few or many: develop business by attending networking events to promote products or services; study, enhance, and improve the sales process to shorten the sales cycle; maintain or create a database so that we can communicate with perspective clients and deepen relationships; offer and schedule consultations; follow up to find out customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Passion, enthusiasm, and excitement for the company and the product are most important! You have excellent writing and communication skills (previous sales or marketing experience is a plus). You must be proficient with technology – email, internet, MS Office, be willing to learn user-friendly software, have your own computer, phone and transportation for networking events. Important to be reliable, punctual, and able to attend a phone meeting once a week.
