DescriptionThe Good Neighboring Campaign works to support Asian immigrant families in the Greater Atlanta region to become active citizens in the United States by increasing access to information, developing capacity for civic engagement, and building civic accountability.
The Development Intern will assist the Good Neighboring staff with a variety of tasks related to fundraising development including grant writing, fundraising, strategic planning, marketing, and other activities related to nonprofit development.
Intern will have the opportunity to gain experiences working in an immigrant community, build wide range of skills, and learn the workings of a small grassroots NGO.
ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:
- Grant writing
- Development planning, including assessments and goal setting
- Fundraising marketing materials development
- National foundation research
- Campaign gift tracking and reporting
RequirementsFlexibility to manage multiple projects
Good writing, organization, and communication skills
Previous experience in grant writing, fundraising, and/or marketing a plus.
