DescriptionBACKGROUND: Resolve empowers women most affected by conflict to reclaim their lives and rebuild their communities step by step.
At Resolve, we believe that every woman is a potential agent of peace. Starting in Eastern Congo, our microfinance initiatives run by women in conflict zones enable them to start businesses, enrich their communities, and build an economy that thrives on peace. A step at a time, they create, participate in, and perpetuate their own autonomous networks of peace.
-- Work closely with the Deputy Director of Operations to implement the organization's fundraising plan
-- Conduct prospect research on individual, foundation, and corporate donors
-- Assist the organization with social media/marketing initiatives
-- Plan and implement fundraising and special events
-- Enter and maintain donor information in fundraising database
-- Starts as soon as possible
-- 40 hours per week preferred, but Part Time Options Possible
-- Strong written and oral communication skills
-- Strong organizational and research skills
-- Prior administrative experience a plus but not a requirement
-- The ability to work well independently in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines effectively
-- Strong commitment to supporting human rights and grassroots women's empowerment.

We believe in sustainable leadership development at Resolve, and you will be an intimate part of our operations, gaining hands-on experience with peace processes and international development. Before your start date, you will meet with the Deputy Director of Operations individually to discuss your goals and interests, how you wish to grow from your internship, and set tangible markers for potential advancement within the organization.
