As an Intern at Feeding Children Everywhere, you will have the opportunity to empower and mobilize volunteers at our Hunger Projects. These are large, high-energy events where hundreds to thousands of volunteers package healthy meals to send to hungry children locally and around the world. This internship runs from May 12th to August 15th.

Our Community engagement interns serve as a liaison for educating the masses about Feeding Children Everywhere. They represent the organization at various community and business meetings, as well as, promoting new campaigns. They also have the rewarding role of leading our High School interns and recruiting volunteers for our nationwide Hunger Projects. Some rewarding opportunities as a Community Engagement intern are: developing programs to reach the community, connecting and building relationships with the community and empowering the world to join a hunger project with Feeding Children Everywhere.


Develop and implement a strategic plan for educational services and community engagement
Oversee and manage contacts with businesses, corporations, schools and clubs
Coordinate activities of support staff and volunteers
Build and implement new community engagement programs
Develop and implement short-term and long-term community planning
Oversee the development and production of engagement material such as flyers, brochures, and pamphlets
Host tabling and canvassing to spread the movement
Hunger project marketing


A love for connecting with people
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent phone and email etiquette
Strong analytic skills and ability to work with data
Exceptional program management, strategic thinking and interpersonal skills
Comfortable with public speaking in varied settings, ranging from work groups to conferences
Strong Organizational Skills
Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
