CureSearch for Children’s Cancer is a national non-profit foundation whose mission is to fund and support children’s cancer research and provide information and resources to all those affected by children’s cancer. CureSearch supports clinical trials research at more than 175 local hospitals across the United States. These hospitals participate in National Cancer Institute sponsored clinical trials conducted by the Children’s Oncology Group. Through the CureSearch Investigational Research Initiative, CureSearch also funds basic and translational research that offers the greatest potential to design treatments and improve outcomes for children with difficult-to-treat cancers.
This position will require 15-20 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks starting immediately. Responsibilities will include volunteer recruitment, fundraising, event logistics and marketing, e-communication and administrative projects. He or she should be energetic, motivated, and possess strong multi-tasking skills. Must be proficient in all Microsoft programs.
