DescriptionStudents’ Forum Institute (SFI) is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit and non-partisan Palestinian organization with a bold vision of a Palestinian society that values the political and civil participation of Palestinian youth and students. The Forum promotes democracy, the rule of law and good governance by fostering effective participation of youth and university students (aged 15-30) through awareness raising, advocacy, lobbying, training, youth exchange, development of creative community initiatives, consultation for students about the best subjects to study at university in line with the labor market needs, help in university enrollment and building their leadership and other skills needed to effectively compete at labor market through training and volunteering programs.

ResponsibilitiesInternship Program Fields
1. International relations, Fundraising, public relations
Tasks: Contact donors, write proposals and projects, search for new donors, network with international organizations and arrange youth exchange and internship programs.
2. Youth and Students Consulting:
Tasks: A researcher to conduct a research on Palestinian youths’ trends, a professional in utilizing Holland Test and academic and career guiding.
3. English Courses:
Tasks: Provide 20 training hours for three levels: elementary, intermediate and advanced levels, and develop SFI capacity for foreign English mailings, letters and translation.
4. Youth Exchange Program:
Tasks: Communicate and coordinate with youth organizations and universities abroad for potential cooperation concerning the exchange program.
Students’ Forum Institute SFI believes in cooperation, locally and internationally, and sharing of knowledge and experience. Therefore, it has developed an internship program to host local and international interns, volunteers and trainees. The selection is based on applicants’ qualifications and SFI current needs. In order to participate in this program, the volunteer/intern must prepare CV, letter of interest, Passport copy, letter of recommendation; and send them by e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org or Salammuharam@gmail.com
Volunteer and intern appointments are at least six 6 weeks and are not to exceed one year, and the working hours are agreed upon by the volunteer/intern and the supervisor.
