DescriptionThe BCA is looking for a graduate student (or a qualified undergraduate) who would like to gain insight and experience in the field of arts non-profit fundraising. This intern supports the BCA’s Development team. Responsibilities may include data entry and database management, event support, assisting with mailings and phone calls, individual prospect research, communication drafting, and other tasks as needed. The Development Department also oversees the BCA’s young professional membership group, forte539, and this intern has the opportunity to work with staff and our forte539 advisory council on event and membership related initiatives.
Candidates should demonstrate their interest in development and fundraising, the arts, or non-profits. They should also have strong oral and written communication skills as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) in a Mac OS and familiarity with databases. 10-15 hours/week.
