Description

The Coastal Watershed Council (CWC) is a non-profit agency whose mission is to preserve and protect coastal watersheds through community stewardship, education and monitoring. CWC founded the San Lorenzo River Alliance, a coalition made up of environmental organizations, local government and partners in arts and business organizations, to transform Santa Cruz County’s relationship with its largest watershed from one of apathy and disdain to one of respect, recreation, and restoration. Our office is located in the beautiful Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor.

If you are interested in working in the non-profit industry, or academia, this stewardship internship is for you. With a focus on grant writing and fundraising appeals, you’ll learn the skills needed to successfully raise money and build relationships with funders.
