Description

The Bruce Arnold Foundation is currently seeking a foundation or corporate grant writer. This position will report to the President of the Foundation, Bruce Arnold and will work remotely.

Responsibilities:

Write grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and major donors, persuasively communicating the Foundation's mission to potential funders.

Steward current relationships and cultivate new partnerships with foundations and corporations.

Communicate by phone and letter with potential funders, respond to requests for information, submit official letters of inquiry, and thank established funders for donations and other support.

Prepare additional material to support development of department activities, such as letters and reports to support major donor cultivation and maintenance of current donor relationships.

Conduct research for prospective donors. Write reports to foundations.

Representative and spokesman at site visits, when applicable.

Keep records of renewals, prospects, and related special projects for a diverse portfolio of philanthropic partners.

Responsibilities

Research grants for our non-profit and write up grant proposals for submission.

Requirements

Good writing and research skills. Good communication skills.
