N.G.O.FUNDING GROUP, LLC. is a nationally recognized professional consulting company located in Northern California. The Organization in the Sacramento region seeks to hire a group of interns for 10-20 hours per week to help them get practical business skills and to learn how to run capital campaigns.

Resources that sustain our operations are won through our memberships, services sales, educational programs, and investments. These cooperative-equity resources are supplemented by grants, donations and corporate sponsorships. The interns also help us with letter writing and communications content.

Purpose: To connect startups to corporate sponsorship funding through community engagement, continuing education and capital campaigns; and to operate as the face of start-up enterprises by offering relevant and valuable programming and by championing strategic-partnerships.

Vision: To be a champion for new businesses and inspire future generations to explore, engage, and meet the challenges of entrepreneurship on behalf of all corporate communities everywhere.

o Helps plan (with direction) and implement fund development activities, including current and planned giving programs.
o Maintains timely and consistent contact with donors and potential donors in order to establish, sustain and enhance positive relationships leading to an initial gift, repeated gifts and upgraded gifts.
o Builds relationships with identified major donors and prospects and makes personal calls to prospective donors.
o Prepares or provides input into grant applications.
o Attends (1) function-- special event for a fundraising purpose.
o Prepares a report for a Board of Directors as required.
o Attends (1)meeting of the a fundraising committee.
o Works with our staff to create any required collateral materials including, but not limited to, brochures, newsletters, special projects, and annual reports.


Demonstrated excellent relationship skills, collaboration, cooperation, conflict resolution, understanding others, positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
Must have, or be willing to develop, positive relationships with local community leaders, donors, friends of the organization and associates.
Software programs including: Word, Excel, and preferably Applications and Social Media.
