DescriptionOur company, on behalf of Shanghai Meiji, is looking for hard working individuals to join a five month paid teaching internship program in Shanghai, China. While this is a teaching position, this internship is an amazing opportunity for any student wanting to experience life in another country, and become more globally aware.
Shanghai Meiji works with many top U.K. TEFL centers, overseas schools, and human resource companies to attract students interested in cultural exchange, global awareness, or teaching the opportunity to fulfil these wishes by means of a five month paid English teaching position in Shanghai, China.
Shanghai Meiji understands how daunting it can be to move, integrate, and work in a foreign country with an entirely unique culture. Not only that, but the legal and logistical issues involved can be overwhelming. That is why they provide their interns with airport pickup, visa services, residency permits, local accommodation, recommendations for teaching positions, school introductions, intensive Chinese language courses, and online TEFL or TESOL learning courses. To help their interns integrate and transition into life in China, they not only provide constant support throughout the duration of the internship program but also a week long orientation and and training session at the start of the internship.
This week long orientation and training seminar is given by experienced teachers, providing the perfect opportunity for their interns to gain the specialized knowledge that will be required to live and work effectively in China. At the end of this orientation week, interns will, with the help of Shanghai Meiji staff, prepare a demo lesson to showcase their teaching ability to potential employers. They guarantee a placement in a local school upon successful completion of the training and orientation.
