DescriptionMission Statement: To provide quality and humane chemical dependency treatment and community corrections services to clients while contributing to safer communities.
Responsibilities-Provide group instruction to clients, based on approved curricula, on topics including: job seeking skills, resume creation, basic computer skills and general adult education topics.
-Supervise usage of client computer lab to ensure productive activity, assist clients on an individual basis as needed.
-Along with assistance, administers assessments to determine client’s education level, employability, soft skills, and vocational choices.
-Records attendance, progress, and participation of clients in designated activities.
-Assists with making the appropriate community referrals.
-Assists with monitoring clients’ compliance with program rules.
-Effectively implements Agency and program policies and procedures.
-Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements•Candidates must commit to a minimum of a 150 hour internship
•Candidates must undergo a criminal background check
•Interns are closely supervised by quality employees
