COLLEGE STUDENT - ROBOTICS/ENGINEER/TEACHERBookmark This
Engineering For Kids
Available for at least 1 hour per day, twice a week, starting at 2:30 PM?!
Get PAID to do what you love, while getting some awesome resume experience!
Our program exposes kids ages 4 - 14 to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) concepts.
We visit different schools every day throughout Greater Houston.
ResponsibilitiesEach day, you will travel to a different school, and will meet with the same group of students over the entire semester.
You will be a co-teacher in a classroom with 7-20 students, along with a Lead Teacher - who will bring along their classroom management tricks... I mean skills :-) Unless of course, YOU ARE THE LEAD TEACHER!
You will guide the students through a hands-on project, while they use their own minds to come up with a solution.
You will then explain the challenge/game in which they will test and improve their solution.
Curriculum covers: Aerospace, Chemical, Civil, Environmental, Electrical, Game Design (Software), Industrial, Lego Robotics, Marine, and Mechanical Engineering.
We build engineers, not just robots.
