Infant Toddler Children's Center
149 Central St.
DescriptionWe are looking for someone interested in gaining experience working in an early education setting. Preference will be given to a student majoring in education or a related field who has taken a course in Child Growth and Development and has supervised experience working with groups of young children.
The Infant Toddler Children’s Center is a well established program in a beautiful building on a wooded lot. Our location is close to Route 2, an easy commute from the Boston area or Route 495. Our teachers are very experienced and committed to the highest quality early childhood practices. We are inspired by the educators of Reggio Emilia, Italy and believe in providing young children with responsive, individualized care. We develop our curriculum based on the interests of the children.
The internship is full time - between 30 and 35 hours per week. Internships will begin in June or July and extend until August 15. Interns will be assigned to a group of children and will be under the direction of an experienced teacher with additional time for reflection and discussion provided by our preschool or infant/toddler coordinator.
