Macculloch Hall Historical Museum – Morristown, NJ 07960
An elegant historic house and decorative arts museum, Macculloch Hall Historical Museum is both a historic house interpreting 150 years of the Macculloch family, and a showcase for the W. Parsons Todd collection of the 18th and 19th century American and English fine and decorative arts. Macculloch Hall Historical Museum comprises nine period rooms and three exhibit galleries, one of which is devoted to the largest collection of cartoonist Thomas Nast's works in the country.
Are you considering a career in education, museums, or both? Macculloch Hall Historical Museum provides hands-on programs to schools, Scouts, and Homeschool families. The Museum offers unpaid internships (one student per semester) to students with a demonstrated interest in education. Work with a trained museum educator to prepare materials and assist in giving programs. Gain skills and experience in a proven museum education program with a dedicated following. Faculty recommendation required.
