Education: Education Intern can work in the Adult Education Department or in Youth Education Department.


Youth Education Intern serve the community through a variety of programs, including curriculum development, tours, offsite visits, drop-in weekend programs, and professional development seminars. Working with staff and museum partner organizations, interns work with the museum’s collections and resource library to develop programs, gallery guides, and education materials.

The Adult Education Interns work closely with program coordinators to produce classroom materials, coordinate speakers and/or guest teachers. They work with the museum staff on student recruitment and placement for both Green Enterprise Training Program, the Innovations Next Generation Lecture Series. Interns assist in all aspects of expanding the Museum’s local adult audiences through administrative support, programming, marketing, and logistical support.


Candidates should be available to work a minimum of 8-20 hours per week and available for events that occur during that time period.
