Description

iMADdu Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 2010 that empowers students to become successful entrepreneurs by providing them with hands-on professional experience through apprenticeships and mentorship. To learn more, please visit www.imakeadifferencedoyou.org.

Responsibilities

This part-time apprenticeship will be responsible for engaging in a variety of ongoing and emerging projects at iMADdu related to marketing, recruitment, event planning, university relations, branding, operations, grant writing, and/or entrepreneurial enrichment. He or she will have the opportunity to work with a wide-range of small businesses and obtain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. He or she must be able to work in a virtual environment.

Since iMADdu is a newly founded nonprofit that is growing internationally, apprentices will have the opportunity to experience the development of a nonprofit firsthand.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has a passion for entrepreneurship, interest in nonprofit operations and management, and desires to build his or her resume. The ideal candidate is energetic, self-starting, motivated, flexible, and focused on self and organizational improvement. The ideal candidate should be interested in learning how to improve his or her networking skills as the position interacts with entrepreneurs of all stages.

Past apprentices have worked on media outreach, developing fundraising platforms, writing business plans, international development, grant writing, managing social media, and more.

Open to all majors but should have solid computer proficiency and strong interpersonal skills.
