Interns will assist in creating programming or short presentations to be used for general public visitors. Interns will get hands-on experience developing and facilitating informal education programs.
Other responsibilities will include helping with classes and Outreach programs. Interns will have direct interaction with the public on a regular basis. Helping with outreach programs throughout the metropolitan St. Louis area for classes and groups. 3. Staffing the instructional cart, a hands-on area, where guests can touch cocoons, insect molts, and many other items.
Requirements include coursework in education and/or a biological field, as well as having at least a 2.5 GPA. All internships are unpaid and part time.
