DescriptionAt Ideasmyth, interns will have a chance to develop strong communication and professional skills to give them a competitive advantage in the workforce. Interns will receive (1) valuable experience in all aspects of entrepreneurial business development, (2) personal mentorship to help them achieve their career goals, (3) numerous networking and career advancing opportunities, and (4) depending on skills and performance, the possibility for work commissions. While this is initially an unpaid internship for at least the first 3 months, it is designed to be an educational and career-advancing experience where interns will be doing meaningful work and advance their careers and every effort will be made to reward superior performance.
Although it is an unpaid internship, there are opportunities for bonuses, and commissions.
The Educational intern is interested in curriculum design for continuing education. The intern will create and assist in the implementation of Ideasmyth’s curriculum design and
course descriptions for the website and marketing materials.
Intern Responsibilities Include:
Research professional development courses for adults
Research technology platforms that can support online learning
Develop course descriptions
Assist in curriculum design
Collaborate ideas for weekly/monthly Ideasmyth courses and educational events
Present information on industry trends and news
Attend networking events with industry leads
Research and assist with the accreditation process
Attend weekly Ideasmyth meetings
Participate in quarterly evaluations with the Project Manager
Contribute to the entrepreneurial spirit of Ideasmyth through your involvement in your department
Requirements• Ability to commit to 15 to 20 hours per week for 6 months
• Ability to efficiently work from home & also attend weekly meetings and office hours in Manhatan
• Hard-working attitude
