DescriptionBK International Education Consultancy’s mission is to provide quality Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) training and professional development to teachers, schools, and organizations to increase student interest and achievement in these areas. The Consultancy also provides grant writing consultation to organizations and schools to acquire funding for STEAM related activities. The Consultancy has a special interest in closing the access gap amongst minority, special needs and female students.
ResponsibilitiesStudents who participate in this internship opportunity will gain valuable experience in their professional fields of study with the intended outcome of developing professional knowledge, skills and abilities desired for employment. Fellows will strengthen the existing infrastructure and gain valuable experience in STEAM education. All majors are encouraged to apply for the SPRING 2015 Fellowships.

Develop relationships within the community locally and nationally, as appropriate (if based in Atlanta, GA). Gain additional skills/networking at applicable professional development seminars or other outside training events (if based in Atlanta, GA). Receive letter of recommendation from BK Consultancy after successful completion of internship. Internship could be available for credit based on your institution’s guidelines.
*Must have a career interest in Marketing, Business, Accounting, Audio/Visual Engineering, Education, or Communications Non-Profit Management
*Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet and email
*Highly self motivated, organized, strong attention to detail with excellent communication and time management skills
*GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred
